red headed killlers!
so lights can be scary...very scary. today i had a refresher on safety when working with lighting equipment and being introduced to a new (but deadly) light, the RedHead. infamous for its bulb to explode, it has a clear mesh like wall to keep glass from shooting outwards, the university as gone through five of the lights. The red head can also get dangerously hot, meaning you cant touch the barn doors or its red hood and when turning it off, you are to wait 30 mins for it to cooldown, otherwise the wire would melt when coiled together. although it does make a nice campfire when next to it.
with this knowledge, i can now feel alot more safer working around these types of lighting.
