A mock and a hard place
on the 16th we had finally found a hotel to allow us to film at one of there rooms, however, we had a small issue of them wanting us to pay a fee of 75 in order to use the room, after messaging him on the day, we had finally got our response charlie stating that hiring the hotel is 'out of the question' possibly not wanting to pay for use of the room. This may be a major issue as we still do not have a location to shoot. if push comes to shove, we may have to pay for this room as a group.
luckily however, we do have another options, mocking up a hotel room with the sets in the bus shes and green screening in the TV studio. after meeting with mike, we had a walk down to the sets to see what we could use for the hotel shoot which could be useful . for starters a set based on a old library, we could use as one of the hotel windows. we had also found hospital beds and various other furniture we could use to mock up. The main issue we have, however is the client can only film on Friday and the weekend, which can be an issue for our director Nathan as he would not be able to stay throughout the entire shoot, also we would have to talk to security and see what the closing times for the university would be.
