pitch perfect 2: electric boogaloo
The day is soon upon us that i would have to pitch again, but this time i would have to put more research into the project as we're working on kodak so i would have to look into specific film that would be needed to use in certain locations.
My idea for the product known as the "Savorist" snack bar, which is an energy snack bar entirely made from natural and savoury foods. The snack bars are vegan, gluten free, and only use good fats and are very low in sugar. The snack bars are launching in two flavours which are Sundried Tomato and Basil and Black Olive and Nori Seaweed. The main thing that the advertisement must get across is that we have to get across is the savoury quality of the product, the main selling point, and that it is the first kind of bar of its kind.
so for my idea it would have to be bizarre while also showing how very different the product its to everyday energy bars. My idea starts with two people exercising in a gym and both go to a vending machine, the first man gets a normal energy bar while the other gets the savourist bar. The first man scoffs at him as he opens up his energy bar a sudden outburst of unhealthy food showers from the packet in absurd amounts, and as he starts to panic picking stuff up, the other has walked away knowing he had made the right choice in buying the savourist bar.
My main influences behind this idea came from the Bizarre Skittles advertisement mainly because of how strange and memorable it is, and my other influence for the idea is from the abundance of candy crush trailers as they show off an abundance of sweets pouring from everywhere during the advertisments.
