production diary 4: Killing time: Time begins to stop
Editing for killing time has came to a defiant stop as many issues with both the footage, paperwork and communication with the director.
The footage has been filmed in different resolutions and framerates making it ultimately impossible to match the sound to the clips. For example, some of the footage has been filmed in 1080p quality with a framerate of 24fps while the other half of the footage has been shot in 2K with a framerate of 25fps. The method i have done to resolve this issue is to artificially speed up the footage that are filmed in 24fps so it artificially plays in 25fps so that the audio can be synched easier. how ever the This had gotten even worse as i have had no access to a production log to match the correct audio track to the clip. meaning that the current sequence that i have edited so far has no dialogue implemented.
Currently i have decided that i would edit as much as i can without the paperwork, meaning that i have to freestyle this project to the best i can do.
