Production Diary: Adam Sirrell Shoot Part 1
Today's proved to be quite a difficult shoot for my "Me Myself And I" project, With Adam M as my cam OP, Nathan Wood as my Runner and Craig As My Runner mainly as i was not as prepared as i thought i would do, however i feel like we did accomplish shooting a lot of the footage required.
In the morning i arrived with my actress (My dog Molly) but had not filled in my risk assessment correctly or handed in my booking out form, reducing our filming time my shoot time for the day, meaning i would have to film on another day in the future. With the paper work finally filled in, we got on to first filming every scene with my dog, so that i would not have to travel down with her for a second day. Molly's only scenes required her to just sit (as cute as a button) and then running out the door. To do these scenes with her i worried that she would be too hyper to work with, ruing the shot, however she was quite calm and managed to sit for the pan shot and able to run to me out the door.
With the Dog scenes sorted, we only has time to film some small scenes, including the establishing shots, close ups and Medium shots to help create a frame for when it came to editing or combining the shots we do in the future. when it came to sound, i have planned to create a foley much like classic Fleischer cartoons, meaning sound was not recorded for these scenes.
In my personal opinion, This Mornings shoot did not go as planned as i had hoped to have filmed either all or a much larger amount of shots so that i can spend more time animating the devil. For my next shoot i plan to be more prepared with my paperwork and handing it in on time before the shoot and should hopefully have my animation sorted for editing.
