Production Diary: Nathans Shoot

Today we shot/crewed for Nathan Wood's "Me Myself And I" module. Much like my project, we filmed at the seminar room.

For This project i took the role of Camera Op/Actor, while Craig took the role of Sound Op/Camera OP and Adam took the role of runner due to turning up late to the set.

the major difference between Craig's Shoot and Nathans is for starters it was in one location, making setting up each shot and shooting far easier. We also didn't have to contend with natural elements (such as the time of day and weather). Nathans shot allowed me and Nathan to experiment with various shot types, such as extreme zoom in's and hand-held tracking shots (which i also had problems doing in the past)

Overall, other than a member of our group not showing up on time, we managed to get on with the project just fine and successfully wrap up for Nathan to edit. Nathans shoot wasn't as overly complicated and ambitious as mine (so far) and Craig's shoot yesterday. with both Craig and Nathans shoots wrapped, only Adam has footage to film and i have to finish my shoot this Friday, hopefully by then i can have my animated devil sorted before my edit.
