Ye Old Gothic editing part 2: A series of fortunate events
yesterday, before the shoot we been given the news that our main actor for Sweeney Todd meaning we were in a huge problem for the crew, so a last ditch option was needed, and that unfortunately was me. I have done some acting in the past and was coming anyway because i wanted to observe the shoot. i had done some acting in the past and wasn't too keen on getting back into it but i fell like the experience would give me more of an understanding between the relationship between the director and actor.
Now another issue we had was the outfit for Sweeney, as it was bought with our previous actor in mind, luckily aside from being a bit tight around the waist i managed to fit into it just fine.After that, the actors turned up, got dressed, chatted with the director Has, and had gotten to work
The shoot was pretty fun considering i was only coming in to observe the shoot to better understand what i would be editing soon, but also even better acting in it, so i can also personally see my acting and theoretically evaluate myself when the time comes. From this experience however i feel more comfortable getting back into acting and could start possibly helping out in other projects in the near future
